Fenland Green Power

The wind farm at Deeping St Nicholas, in South Lincolnshire consists of eight 2MW RePower wind turbines. Fens Co-op will offer community ownership of two of the turbines. The two wind turbines will produce enough electricity to power 2,100 homes.

Boyndie Wind Farm

Boyndie Co-op was established in 2005 for the purpose of owning a share in the Boyndie wind farm located at Boyndie Airfield in Banffshire. Boyndie Co-op is the first wind farm co-operative in Scotland and has given local people, as a matter of priority, and others, an opportunity to invest in the production of renewable energy.
