For over 20 years, AWS Truewind has been an international leader and innovator in renewable energy technology applications, advanced atmospheric modeling and measurement, and engineering services. windNavigator® maps
This database contains four different categories of wind data: time series of wind characteristics, time series of wind turbine responses, wind resource data and windfarm measurements.
Current wind conditions in the USA, Canada, Europe, Africa, South America, South Asia, Australia, Asia
Three easy steps to a smarter, easier and more cost-effective initial wind assessment "” in just minutes!
This atlas estimates wind energy resource for the United States and its territories and indicates general areas where a high wind resource may exist.
While visiting the Wind Powering America Web site you can find state wind maps, small wind consumer's guides, wind workshops that are going on in your area, and much more.
The WRE is provided by AWS Truewind and is designed to provide easy access to spatial and tabular wind resource and ancillary data through the use of an interactive web based mapping interface. This allows the user to manipulate, view, query and print wind resource maps as well as access site specific detailed wind resource reports.
One map developed with "WindMap" software, and another map was developed using empirical techniques to correlate terrain, elevation, and vegetation to wind power.

Accurate wind energy resource testing production, prototype and resource testing / assessment.
Second Wind Inc., established in 1980, provides products to wind energy developers, consulting meteorologists, and government agencies for both wind prospecting (wind energy resource assessment) and windfarm monitoring.
This site features color maps representing the average wind velocity, power, and direction on the whole country, as well as corresponding geophysical characteristics, all available in an easy to use browsing interface that allows you to go quickly to the heart of the meteorological data. Atlas Eolien (French Version)
The Ontario Wind Resource Atlas allows users to view color-coded maps of numerous wind statistics for any one-square-kilometre area in the province. This mapping tool illustrates Ontario's wind energy potential and will help identify promising sites for future wind energy development.
