Why should I list my website at EcoBusinessLinks?

EcoBusinessLinks is a 'focused' directory, only businesses or organizations offering selected green products, services or information are accepted. Visitors know this and they come again and again to find new green products or companies. Somehow you found the EcoBusinessLinks directory, so do thousands of other visitors each month with more than 20,000 different search strings.

What about search engines?

While search engines are the most popular way for people to find information or products on the internet, they also often represent the most frustrating way to get lost in literally thousands of unrelated search results. Search engines are working hard at improving those results, but by definition, a search engine will always remain a "search" engine. Statistics have shown people to usually stop searching after the first three pages, however many people want "quick" results and drop searching after the first page. Recent research shows that more than 50% of people using search engines drop searching further after the first 20 results. If you don't make it within the first two pages, you will loose most of the potentially interested customers!

Many directories ask for hefty annual fees for the right to be listed. It is the purpose of EcoBusinessLinks to provide visitors a broad range of great and truly environmental companies and organizations and to keep listing fees democratic.

In which category will I be listed?

Please go through the directory before you start the application procedure to decide on which category you'd like to be listed in. The final decision about the category that your website will be listed in rests with the editor of EcoBusinessLinks. This is to ensure that visitors receive only the most appropriate websites in relation to the structure of the directory. Because this decision is based on 'common sense' there shouldn't be any problems, however if you do not agree with the decision, just inform the editor of EcoBusinessLinks by email with the reasons why you think your website should be listed in another category.

You may also suggest a new category.

Can I be listed in more than one category?

To avoid unnecessary repetitions of the same listings and guide visitors to the most appropriate websites, businesses and organizations can be listed normally only once. Additional listings are only possible when purchasing Logo Listings. Being listed in more than one category is only possible if deemed appropriate by EcoBusinessLinks. If you are interested in a multiple listing, please contact the editor. Lower fees apply when buying several logo listings, please inquire.

Can I change my listing?

If you have enjoyed a free listing till now, we kindly ask you to pay the basic fee of $15.00 and follow the usual registration procedure (you will be led to it after payment). If you already have paid previously, please send an email with your request to the editor.
